This range of Christian poetry collections was written by A K Whitehead over a period of about twenty years. Although having written poetry from the age of ten, it was on an on and off basis until he received an anointing for poetry from the Lord during a period of prayer on the morning of 29 May 1991. The poem was called What Is Prayer. Others followed and were subsequently gathered together in the Prophetic Verse chapbook, so-called because of the direct manner in which the poems were received. Writing poetry developed from there, leading to the other volumes listed here.
